Below is the official standard certification process.

Step 1: Application & Preliminary Review

Submit application form, business license, product formula, flowchart, factory layout
Our LHLN consultant reviews documents to confirm BPJPH basic compliance
Preliminary result & correction advice within 1 working day

Step 2: Proposal & Quotation

Customized certification plan based on product category & factory size
Transparent quotation with no hidden fees
Sign formal service contract after confirmation

Step 3: Documentation & System Guidance

Complete Halal system, HACCP, traceability, hygiene documents
Formula review to exclude non-halal ingredients
Provide full set of standard templates

Step 4: LHLN On-Site Audit

An LHLN auditor recognized under the Mutual Recognition Agreement with BPJPH conducts an on-site inspection at the manufacturing facility
Check facility, hygiene, equipment, raw materials, process, cross-contamination control
Full translation support throughout the audit

Step 5: Correction & Recheck

Immediate correction plan for minor non-conformities
Support for major issues until approval
Full guidance to ensure pass at first attempt

Step 6: BPJPH Registration & Certificate Issuance

Submit audit documents to BPJPH system for official registration
LHLN issues Halal certificate equivalent to BPJPH official
Certificate verifiable on BPJPH official website

Step 7: Annual Audit & Maintenance

The validity period of the certificate is determined according to the client's requirements; annual audit required 30 days before expiry
Full annual audit support with simplified process
Long-term Halal compliance maintenance for export stability
