Dukung dan Sukseskan, Besok BPJPH Gelar Sosialisasi Wajib Halal Oktober 2026 Serentak di 2.183 Titik Lokasi di Seluruh Indonesia

JAKARTA — Indonesia’s Halal Product Guarantee Administration Body (Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal, BPJPH) will hold the ‌2026 October Mandatory Halal Regulation Outreach‌ simultaneously across 2,183 locations spread across Indonesia tomorrow, Thursday, June 4, 2026. This event is part of BPJPH’s large-scale efforts to improve public and business actors’ understanding of the implementation of the Mandatory Halal policy that will enter into force in October 2026.

E.A Chuzaemi Abidin, Deputy Director for Guidance and Supervision at BPJPH, stated that this synchronized outreach is a critical step to ensure all business actors understand their obligation to obtain halal certification in accordance with the provisions of applicable laws and regulations.

"The implementation of the Mandatory Halal regulation in October 2026 requires understanding and preparation from all stakeholders. For this reason, we call on all business actors to take advantage of this outreach event to obtain accurate and comprehensive information regarding the halal certification obligation," he explained.

Through this event, participants will obtain information on various aspects of Halal Product Guarantee (Jaminan Produk Halal, JPH) administration, including the rules of the October 2026 Mandatory Halal regulation, halal certification information services, direct consultations with Halal Product Process Assistants (Pendamping Proses Produk Halal, P3H), as well as the opportunity to register for halal certification on-site at the event.

According to Deputy Chuzaemi, the outreach held simultaneously across thousands of locations also serves as a momentum to strengthen public halal literacy. It is expected to have a positive impact on accelerating the growth in the number of halal-certified products in Indonesia.

"We call on all business actors to immediately prepare their products for the implementation of the Mandatory Halal regulation in October 2026. At all 2,183 outreach locations, business actors can also obtain information about the halal certification obligation, and can even submit halal certification registration directly on-site," he further explained.
