ON
AMENDMENTS TO THE DECREE OF THE HEAD OF THE HALAL PRODUCT ASSURANCE ORGANIZING BODY NUMBER 145 OF 2022 ON THE USE OF HALAL LOGO AND LABEL ON PRODUCT THAT HAVE OBTAINED HALAL CERTIFICATE

HEAD OF HALAL PRODUCT ASSURANCE ORGANIZING BODY,
Considering : that in order to provide legal certainty regarding the provisions for the use of the Halal Label on foreign halal products that will enter, circulate, and be traded in the territory of Indonesia, it is necessary to stipulate the Decree of the Head of the Halal Product Assurance Organizing Bodyon Amendments to the Decree of the Head of the Halal Product Assurance Organizing Body Number 145 of 2022 on the Use of Halal Logo and Label on Product That Have Obtained Halal Certificates;

HAS DECIDED:

THE DECREE OF THE HEAD OF THE HALAL PRODUCT ASSURANCE ORGANIZING BODY NUMBER 145 OF 2022 ON THE USE OF HALAL LOGO AND LABEL ON PRODUCT THAT HAVE OBTAINED HALAL CERTIFICATE.
: Amend the provisions of Letter M Number 2 regarding the Inclusion of Halal Labels for Overseas Halal Products in the Appendix to the Decree of the Head of the Halal Product Assurance Body Number 145 of 2022 concerning the Use of the Halal Logo and Halal Label on Product That Have Obtained a Halal Certificate so that it reads as follows:M. Halal Label
2. Halal Label Format for Halal Product with Foreign Halal Certificate
The inclusion of the halal label for halal product with a foreign halal certificate is only intended for halal products whose halal certification is carried out by a Foreign Halal Certification Body (FHCB/LHLN) that has cooperated with mutual acceptance and mutual recognition (MRA) on halal certificate with BPJPH with the following conditions:a. include the Indonesian Halal Label accompanied by the foreign halal certificate registration number obtained from BPJPH;
b. include the Indonesian Halal Label accompanied by the foreign halal certificate registration number obtained from BPJPH and the FHCB/LHLN Halal Label.
